EPON™ Resin 2002 by Westlake Epoxy is a solid bisphenol A/epichlorohydrin epoxy resin. It is designed specifically for thin-film functional and decorative epoxy powder bottle coating applications. It provides extended gelation time in epoxy powder coatings. This grade affords rapid cure speeds when combined with accelerated dicyandiamide curing agents. It provides outstanding flow characteristics and yields high gloss coatings. It is suitable for high performance finishes for automotive parts, metal shelving and institutional furniture. The shelf life of EPON™ Resin 2002 is 3 years.
