EPON™ Resin 164

EPON™ Resin 164 by Westlake Epoxy is a solid multifunctional epichlorohydrin/cresol novolac epoxy resin. It possesses low ionic contaminants and saponifiable chloride. It offers high thermal stability, versatility, reactivity, chemical resistance and stability of electrical properties under humid conditions. It increases the resistance to attack by moisture, solvents and environment. It provides high glass transition temperature and crosslink density. This grade improves the retention of strength, rigidity, electrical and other properties at elevated temperatures. EPON™ Resin 164 is used in powder coatings. The shelf life of this product is 5 years.
