SiVance® C2010 Resin

SiVance® C2010 Resin by Milliken is a modified polysiloxane that is epoxy functional. It improves properties such as flexibility, hydrophobicity, and hydrothermal stability. It enhances the compatibility and performance of SiVance® C1008 Curative in aromatic epoxy systems. It avoids the cracking, delamination and blistering that lead to corrosion and failure of metal pipes, tanks and equipment. It may be cured in the same manner as other epoxy systems. SiVance® C2010 Resin utilizes a proprietary structure that enables the resin to be broadly compatible with aliphatic epoxies and aromatic epoxies such as bisphenol-A, bisphenol-F, and phenol novolacs. SiVance® C2010 Resin is designed to create highly durable epoxy-silicone hybrid coating formulations for use in harsh operating environments such as undersea drilling, hydraulic fracturing and chemical manufacturing. Used in immersion coatings, tank linings, thermal insulation and subsea coatings. It is registered under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA).
