Hydro-Rez™ 1400D

An aqueous sulfo polyester resin dispersion. Imparts the adhesion, gloss, low odor, fast drying speed, transparency, alcohol resistance, rub and scuff resistance. Can be used as a sole resin in a system, or as a plasticizing resin in combination with a higher Tg sulfo polyester polymer. Acts as a plasticizer, it improves the film formation in the system, increasing film flexibility and adhesion when used on non-absorbent substrates. Used in water-based gravure and flexo inks, primers as well as coatings.
