An alcohol soluble fumaric-modified rosin ester. Possesses good solubility and low viscosity in alcohol and aqueous ammonia solutions, which also contributes to high gloss for overprint varnishes. Also serves as a leveling and gloss-promoting agent in floor polishes. Used in flexographic and gravure inks.
