Rosin resin. Possesses high softening point, high acid value, good releasing character in solvent, high brightness and good wettability. Has good compatibility with modifier, allyl alcohol polymers and ethyl cellulose. Used in water-based and alcohol-based varnish, flexo ink, intaglio printing ink, polishing varnish. Also, used in drying corrugated printing ink and polishing varnish together with maleic resin.
