Hard, pale amber colored thermoplastic glycerol ester of polymerized rosin. Used in lacquers and varnishes. Offers high softening point and good color stability and solution properties. Gives resistance to oxidation, high tack and compatibility with ethylcellulose, natural and synthetic rubber, chlorinated rubber, ureaformaldehyde resins, and waxes.
