NeoCryl® XK-205 by Covestro is an APEO-free, good gloss, aqueous styrene acrylic copolymer emulsion. Exhibits good balance of hardness, chemical resistances and adhesion. Used in metal topcoats, plastic coatings, OEM interior parts and business machines, concrete & architectural coatings, flat stock coatings in industrial wood market and parquet lacquers. Offers good water resistance, good durability, good resistance to household stains and quick dry. NeoCryl® XK-205 requires the addition of coalescent and plasticizers for proper film forming behavior. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
