NeoCryl® A-550 by Covestro is a waterborne 100% acrylic resin. It is designed to improve the hardness, block- & scratch resistance of OPV, flexo- and gravure ink formulations. It is also used in packaging films, paper and board applications. NeoCryl® A-550 is suitable for formulating films, flooring, interior & exterior industrial wood, metal, plastic, paper and board. It has a shelf life of 12 months. It shows excellent compatibility with acrylic emulsions, hybrid polyurethane/acrylic dispersions, and polyurethane dispersions with good stability.
