DRT -100 TP

Terpene phenolic resin. Acts as a tackifier. It is a thermoplastic polymer manufactured by co-polymerization of cyclic terpene hydrocarbons (like Pinene, Carene etc..,) and phenol. It is compatible with natural and synthetic rubbers e.g. natural rubber, butyl rubber, styrene butadiene rubber. Also with resins such as rosin, ester gum, alkyds, many polymer systems, most plasticizers and waxes (like paraffin, microcrystalline, chlorowax etc.). Used in surface coatings and printing inks.
