DOWSIL™ 3037 Intermediate

DOWSIL™ 3037 Intermediate by Dow is a methoxy functional silicone resin intermediate. It is used with organic resins to improve weatherability or other silicone resins to reduce VOCs and improve flexibility. It is a solvent-less resin compatible with organic resins such as polyesters, alkyds, epoxies and acrylics. It chemically reacts with organic systems containing active hydroxyl groups to form silicone-organic copolymers, or can be blended with other silicone resins to modify physical properties and reduce solvent requirements. DOWSIL™ 3037 Intermediate has a shelf life of 36 months.
