DOWSIL™ 2405 Resin

DOWSIL™ 2405 Resin by Dow is a reactive, solvent-free alkoxy-siloxane resin. Designed for paints and coatings applications. Exhibits high reactivity and can be cured without tin. Improves mechanical properties & withstands high temperatures and low weight loss at high temperatures. It allows low solvent content formulations and atmospheric moisture curing. Exhibits good flexibility and offers shock resistance to rigid Si-based coatings. Provides protection of metal, wood and glass. It can be formulated as protective clearcoat and with pigments. DOWSIL™ 2405 Resin has a shelf life of 24 months at <25°C.
