PARALOID™ A-101 Thermoplastic Solution Resin

PARALOID™ A-101 Thermoplastic Solution Resin by Dow Chemical is a very hard methyl methacrylate polymer supplied at 40% solids in methyl ethyl ketone (MEK). PARALOID™ A-101 Thermoplastic Solution Resin has excellent adhesion to plastic and is highly resistant to water, grease, salt spray, and gasoline. Offers best gloss, fast drying and excellent durability. It has the same polymer composition as PARALOID™ A-10S Resin which is supplied at 30% solids in PM acetate, a slower solvent. It is recommended for clear coatings on vinyl, metal, wood, gravure printing inks, plastisol primers, and barrier coatings for plastic.
