MRG-1305

Rosin modified maleic acid resin. It is formed by vacuum treatment during esterification of adducts of rosin and maleic anhydride with glycerol (or pentaerythritol). Exhibits light color and insolubility in alcoholic solvents. Improves hardness of paint films, gloss, rubbing property and buildingness for polyester-, nitro- and PU paints. Mixes and polymerizes well with plant & vegetable oils. Provides resistance to yellowing and heat. Used in phenolic paints and road marking paints.
