Ricon® 257

Ricon® 257 is polybutadiene styrene divinylbenzene graft terpolymer by Cray Valley (Total Group). It functions as a laminating resin. These resins provide excellent electrical and ease of handling characteristics. Its benefits include that the polybutadiene backbone renders the final reaction product hydrophobic. Its liquid nature allows for easy mixing, reacts with diols much like polyurethane systems, non-tacky prepregs, excellent dielectrics and peroxide curable. It has polybutadiene as a starting material and adds functional groups to this backbone. Ricon® 257 is suitable for coatings applications.
