Desmodur® N 3400 by Covestro is a solvent free, low viscosity aliphatic polyisocyanate resin based on HDI. Used as a hardener or reactive diluent for 100% solids, solvent-borne and aqueous, two-pack polyurethane coatings. Compatible with esters, ketones and aromatic hydrocarbons such as ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, methoxypropylacetate, acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, methyl isobutyl ketone, cyclohexanone, toluene, xylene, solvent naphtha® 100. Desmodur® N 3400 can be used as a binder for solvent free, one component moisture curing polyurethane coatings.
