Desmodur® IL EA

Aromatic polyisocyanate resin based on toluylene diisocyanate. Used as a hardener component for fast-drying two-pack polyurethane coatings such as coatings for on-line application such as in the packaging industrial or in industrial furniture finishing. Increases resistance to heat, oil, plasticizers and many solvents. Gives adhesion to many materails, especially plastics. Possesses good compatibility with esters such as ethyl acetate, butyl acetate and 1-methoxypropylacetate-2 and with aromatic hydrocarbons such as toluene, xylene, Solvesso® 100 and Shellsol® A.
