BF-08 by Chang Chun Petrochemical is a hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol. PVA possesses good film-forming property and the film formed from it exhibits excellent adhesion, solvent-resistance, abrasion-resistance, high tensile strength and great oxygen barrier property. It exhibits both hydrophilic and hydrophobic properties. It can act as surfactant and can be used as a protective colloid in polymer emulsification and suspension polymerization. BF-08 is recommended for use in paper coatings.
