Aromatic polyisocyanate based on toluene diisocyanate. Used as coatings for wood, metal, textiles, paper, plastics, rubber and mineral substrates. Also used in combination with various other hydroxyl-bearing substances to formulate air-drying two-component polyurethane coatings. Possesses good compatibility with ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, 1-methoxypropyl-acetate-2 and ketones. Exhibits limited solubility in toluene, xylene and other aromatic hydrocarbons.
