Basonat® HB 100

Basonat® HB 100 by BASF is a solvent-free, aliphatic polyisocyanate based on biuret-modified hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). Exhibits excellent weather & chemical resistance, non-yellowing and physical properties. Used to crosslink most hydroxy-containing resins and hydroxy functional polyesters. Recommended for lightfastness two-pack polyurethane coatings. Suitable for use in primers for difficult substrates such as aluminum or plastics. Applicable for interior & exterior general industrial metal coating, plastic component coating, wood coatings for floor, furniture or millwork, and automotive OEM or refinish applications. Basonat® HB 100 is listed with TSCA, OSHA and EPCRA 311/312.
