Acronal® S 589-For Europe only

Acronal® S 589 by BASF is an environmentally advanced soft anionic styrene acrylic binder. It is APEO- and ammonia-free. Offers low water uptake and low surface tack. It has very good water tightness for damp proofing, outstanding tannin and nicotine blocking primers. Acronal® S 589 is also used in low VOC sheen to semi-gloss paints, damp proofing of wet rooms (application of several layers of glass fiber and coating recommended in order to obtain completely watertight seal) as well as emulsion-type silicate paints.
