Acronal® PRO 761

Acronal® PRO 761 by BASF is an aqueous emulsion of a copolymer of butyl acrylate and styrene. It is an APEO-free self-crosslinking emulsion for light to medium-duty anti-corrosion primers and industrial metal applications.

• It is a medium-viscosity fine emulsion crosslinking when curing to form clear, transparent and non-tacky films.
• Its good compatibility with anti-corrosion pigments and the good photochemical resistance of its films, primers and finishes can be formulated with Acronal® PRO 761 S as a sole binder.
• Even the unpigmented films are largely resistant to flash rust.
• Offers excellent corrosion resistance, good adhesion, sandability and ecological properties.
• Primers based on Acronal® PRO 761 S are formulated with reactive anti-corrosion pigments (chemical anti-corrosion protection).
• Acronal® PRO 761 is mainly used to formulate water-based anticorrosion coatings, paints, industrial coatings and even for difficult substrates such as zinc or aluminum.
