Aqualon™ AQU D-3831 by Ashland Specialty Chemical is a modified hydroxyethylcellulose. Exhibits wide-ranging solubility & flexibility at low temperatures and very low decomposition temperature. Offers high solution clarity, good thermal stability, even burnout, scuff resistance, adhesion, fast solvent release, film formation and outstanding rheology control. Aqualon™ AQU D-3831 is suitable for gravure printing inks, flexographic and screen printing inks. Recommended for electronics applications. Listed with SARA 311/312 Hazards, DSL (Canada), AUSTR (Australia), ENCS (Japan), PICCS (Philippines), KECL (Korea), IECSC (China), & TSCA (USA) inventories and 29 CFR 1910.1200 (OSHA HazCom 2012) regulation.
