ENCOR® 8440 by Arkema is a film forming, styrene acrylic emulsion polymer. It is designed to exhibit very high gloss, good water resistance and oil resistance characteristics. It is typically used in combination with ENCOR® 8146 to achieve the desired performance. It is used in water-based inks and overprint varnishes.
