EBECRYL® 8701

EBECRYL® 8701 by allnex is a light color, low odor, UV/ electron beam (EB) energy curable, aliphatic urethane triacrylate. It is designed to bridge the gap between high surface hardness and excellent outdoor durability. Recommended for screen inks, automotive OEM or re-finish, wood & metal coatings, post-formable coatings for metal tube and conduit, optical coatings, topcoats and pigmented coatings for wood. It may crystallize to a waxy solid form over time. It exhibits increased Tg, excellent abrasion- & stain resistance, good adhesion and toughness. It offers good chemical- and scratch resistance. Formulated products containing EBECRYL® 8701 may be applied via direct or reverse roll, offset gravure, metering rod, slot die, knife over roll, air knife, curtain, immersion and spin coating methods, as well as screen printing.
