EBECRYL® 8405

EBECRYL® 8405 by allnex is an aliphatic urethane tetraacrylate diluted 20% by weight with the reactive diluent 1,6-hexanediol diacrylate (HDDA). It is a light color and low odor electron beam (EB)/ UV energy curable resin. Offers abrasion- & yellowing resistance, good toughness, flexibility and adhesion with excellent exterior durability. Recommended for automotive OEM or re-finish, wood topcoats, metal- and plastic coatings, post-formable coatings for metal tube and conduit. EBECRYL® 8405 is also used in optical-, pigmented coatings for wood and screen inks. Formulated products may be applied via direct or reverse roll, offset gravure, metering rod, slot die, knife over roll, air knife, curtain, immersion & spin coating and screen printing.
