Epotec® YD 905

Epotec® YD 905 by Aditya Birla Chemicals is a medium molecular weight solid epoxy resin. It is suitable for formulations requiring higher flexibility and toughness. Also suitable for making epoxy ester resins by reacting with fatty acids in appropriate quantity for which an esterification catalyst needs to be employed. Epotec® YD 905 is employed to produce functional powder coatings like hybrid powder coatings and pure epoxy powder coatings by combining with appropriate curing agent. It can be blended with higher molecular weight epoxy resins to produce collapsible tubes and coil coatings.
