BTR-201W

Iron oxide. It is a transparent red pigment based on water and oil. Exhibits high level of color strength and UV absorption properties combined with excellent weather fastness, heat durability as well as alkaline-resistance. It is applied over metal to produce gold or copper effect. The small particle size of transparent iron oxide results in the pigment with high surface area (about 128m2/g) and therefore, high oil absorption value (80-100). Offers bleed resistance and non-toxicity. Used in high quality automotive paints, wood finishes, powder coatings, construction paints and industrial coatings. Also used for printing on aluminum foils and in can interior as well as exterior coatings.
