Arctic® Yellow 196

Arctic® Yellow 196 by Shepherd is a non-bleeding, non-migratory & non-warping chrome antimony titanium buff rutile-based inorganic yellow-orange pigment. It is produced by high-temperature calcination and used in applications that require heat-, light- and weather-resistance.

• It is chemically inert, exhibits exceptional durability & hiding power and possesses good UV & visible opacity.
• It is heat-, acids-, bases- & solvents-resistant, UV-light stable and shows compatibility with most resin systems & polymers.
• It is iron-free, has a large particle size and is the reddest shade yellow in this class of pigment.
• Arctic® Yellow 196 is suitable for coil- & extrusion-, industrial- & powder-, silicate-, Transportation- & ACE- & high-temperature coatings and façade paints.
• Also, its colored articles are used for producing, packaging and transporting food as it has indirect food contact approval.
