Arctic® Green 187 B

Arctic® Green 187 B by Shepherd is a non-warping, non-bleeding & non-migratory cobalt chromite blue-green spinel which is a rich greenish-blue powder. It is produced by high-temperature calcination followed by water treatment to remove soluble traces. Used in applications that require heat-, light- and weather-resistance.

• It has low residual solubles, exhibits exceptional durability & hiding power and possesses good UV & visible opacity.
• It shows compatibility with most resin systems & polymers and resistance to acids, bases & solvents.
• It is chemically inert, heat resistant & UV-light stable and imparts a durable color.
• Arctic® Green 187 B is suitable for liquid-, powder-, coil- & extrusion-, industrial-, silicate- & high-temperature coatings, inks, dispersions, concrete, façade paints and other applications where equivalent pigment chemistry is used.
