Ultramarine RS 08

Sodium Alumino Sulphosilicate. Acts as a general purpose inorganic pigment. It is a medium tinting strength, very red shade Ultramarine blue. Is heat fast, light fast and very easy to disperse. Offers poor acid fastness and good alkali fastness properties. It is widely used alone to obtain a bright, transparent shade of blue, or in combination with other pigments such as titanium dioxide, with which it gives an attractive pastel shade. Its redness makes it especially useful in absorbing an unwanted yellow undertone to improve the shade of white or transparent articles.
