New opacifying titanium dioxide extender for high PVC matt paints. Possesses exceptional dry hiding, and additional matting properties. Exhibits high opacity for single coat decorative paints. Has exceptional opacifying capability, which makes it ideal for cost-effective decorative coatings formulated at PVC > CPVC. Provides very good hiding power in single-coat paints. Is a natural product with low carbon footprint, and is low in crystalline silica. Gives titanium dioxide extension. Improves opacity still further by reducing the CPVC of the paint, thereby increasing porosity and light scattering. Used for cost effective high PVC matt paints.
