Irgazin® Yellow D 1999 by Sun Chemical (DIC) is a transparent reddish yellow pigment used as an alternative to PY 83. It is based on high gloss isoindolinone. It combines outstanding tinctorial properties with excellent rheology in acrylate systems. It offers outstanding resistance to light, weather, heat, chemicals and solvents with outdoor properties. It exhibits excellent light fastness and dispersibility. Irgazin® Yellow D 1999 is used in solvent-, water-, oil-based and UV-curable inks. It is suitable for gravure-, flexo-, offset- and digital-inkjet inks.
