Silmer® EPC Di-50

Silmer® EPC Di-50 by Siltech is a medium molecular weight silicone prepolymer with cycloaliphatic epoxide groups. It is used in photoinitiated cationic cured systems and to modify various polymers to improve their surface and physical properties. As a linear, di-functional reactive polymer Silmer® EPC Di-50 tends to act as an extender and increases flexibility. It can be co-reacted into various alcohol, organic acid and amine-based polymers. It provides good slip, anti-blocking, mar resistance, surface smoothness, heat resistance and hydrophobicity. It can be used in UV cured coatings. It has shelf life of 36 months from the date of manufacture. It is listed with TSCA, NDSL, IECSC, ENCS and TCSI international inventories.
