Myrinol™ HP 210

Myrinol™ HP 210 by Myriant is made from renewable bio-succinic acid and is a cost effective high performance liquid polyol. It is designed for use in cast elastomers, polyesters, polyurethane dispersions, thermoplastic urethane and 2K urethane applications. It is an excellent choice for synthesis of 100% solids or waterborne UV curable systems. It is also an excellent candidate for extremely tough polyurethanes when combined with aromatic or aliphatic isocyanates. The optimal systems can be either 100% solids, solvent-borne or water-borne. It can be added to a curable thermoset system, specifically cationic cure. Thermoplastic or self-crosslinking polyurethane dispersions made from Myrinol™ HP 210 reveal a tough, abrasion resistant coating without loss of adhesion.
