DMPA® Dimethylolpropionic Acid

Dimethylolpropionic acid. It is a unique and versatile hindered diol molecule with both hydroxyl and carboxyl functionality. Used to introduce carboxylic functional groups into the polymer backbone. Applications include water based alkyds and polyesters, PUDs and e-deposition coatings.
