WeKcelo® HX C4

Modified hydroxyethyl cellulose. Acts as a rheology modifier. This grade is resistant against enzymatic attack types, it's also a surface-treated cellulose for delayed and easy dissolution in water, so it is a general thickener for all water based system, including latex paints. Surface characteristics of WeKcelo HX C4 ensure that particles are well dispersed, avoiding coalescence. It is chemically inert and is thus highly compatible with other paint components. Offers moderate gloss, low pigment compatibility, high anti-spattering and moderate pseudoplasticity as well as high thickening effect. Possesses high wet scrub resistance and water retention.
