Tolonate™ HDT-LV

Tolonate™ HDT-LV by Vencorex is an aliphatic polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate trimer (HDI homo-polymer). Acts as a crosslinking agent. Enables the production of formulation of higher solids content, compared to standard HDI biurets and trimers. Exhibits excellent outdoor durability & mechanical properties in conjunction with abrasion-, solvent- and chemical- resistance. Soluble in esters, ketones, aromatic hydrocarbons. Used as a cross-linker of hydroxylated polymers, especially polyesters and polyacrylic polyols, to prepare two-component polyurethanes coatings. Tolonate™ HDT-LV also finds use in varnishes and exterior protective coatings for automotive OEM, industrial machinery, plastic parts & car repair.
