Mergal® S99 by Troy Corporation (Arxada) is a dry film preservative, fungicide and algaecide for paints and lacquers. It is a blend of 3-iodo-2-propinyl-n-butylcarbamate, methyl-benzimidazol-2-ylcarbamate and 2-methylthio-4-tert-butylamino-6-ethylamino-s-triazine. This additive offers altemaria efficiency and reduced leachability. It shows compatibility with aqueous polymer emulsions such as pure acrylic, styrene acrylic, polyvinyl acetate and copolymers, polyvinyl alcohol and vinyl acetate-ethylene pressure polymers. The usage level of Mergal® S99 is 0.2-1.5%.
