Mergal® K19 by Troy Corporation (Arxada) is an in-can preservative, sanitizing agent, bactericide, fungicide and algaecide for paints and lacquers. It is a blend of isothiazolinone derivative and O- and N-formal. This grade offers compatibility with aqueous polymer emulsions such as pure acrylic, styrene acrylic, polyvinyl acetate and copolymers and polyvinyl alcohol, vinyl acetate-ethylene pressure polymers. The usage level of Mergal® K19 is 0.1-0.3%.
