ACTICIDE® SPX

ACTICIDE® SPX by Thor acts as an industrial microbiocide and algicide & fungicide. It controls the growth of bacteria and fungi. It is a mixture of 5–chloro–2–methyl–4–isothiazolin–3–one (1.11%) and 2–methyl–4–isothiazolin–3–one (0.37%). Used in electrodeposition paints, architectural finishes, paper & wood coatings. Also used in flexographic, gravure, screen and printing inks. Recommended dosage level of ACTICIDE® SPX is 0.1-1.0% on a total weight basis for inks and 0.5-1.65 lb for wood, paper and architectural coatings.
