Fully calcined, intermediate particle size, high brightness kaolin clay. Acts as a cost-effective TiO2 extender and functional filler. Exhibits excellent optical properties and low abrasion. Being fully calcined, has better light scattering properties. Improves whiteness, UV screening, opacity and scrub resistance. Increases the hiding power of paints. Most suited for water- and solvent-borne paints, coatings and inks.
