2-(3',5'-di-t-butyl-2'-hydroxyphenyl)-5-chlorobenzotriazole. It belongs to the family of substituted benzotriazoles, which protect against ultraviolet radiation. HXA UV-327 has excellent stability to heat and light, low volatility, good color, superior wash fastness, and resistance to gas fading, which make it particularly useful for stabilizing ABS, polyester, styrenics, urethanes, dye and pigment.
