SONGSORB® CS 1577 by Songwon is a 2-(4,6-diphenyl-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)-5-hexyloxy phenol. Acts as a UV absorber of the hydroxyphenyl triazine cluster with strong absorption properties of ultraviolet radiation in the 300~400㎚region. Exhibits very low volatility and good compatibility with a variety of polymers and resin compositions. Synergisms are known when used with phenolic & phosphite antioxidants and HALS. SONGSORB® CS 1577 allows to achieve higher resistance than conventional benzotriazole to weathering in polycarbonates and polyesters. It is listed on AICS, DSL, ENCS, ECL, ELINCS and TSCA inventories.
