STORFLAM ZS

Dehydrated zinc stannate. It acts as a flame retardant and smoke suppressant. Exhibits extremely low toxicity and carries no risk phrases. Releases water endothermically. Provides gas phase activity especially in the presence of halogens and produces a tin-based char under fire conditions, providing excellent smoke suppression and exhibiting a reduction in heat released. Offers excellent smoke suppression performance in halogen free systems. Shows vapor phase flame-inhibiting activity. Allows lower overall filler loadings leading to superior mechanical properties.
