AquaFLON® 797

AquaFLON® 797 by Shamrock is a non-ionic aqueous dispersion of synthetic wax and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Acts as a slip control agent, scratch- and abrasion resistance agent. Provides rub resistance, mar/scuff performance, clarity, gloss retention, good slip, scratch and abrasion resistance properties. It is designed for stability, pourability and easy incorporation into water based systems. AquaFLON® 797 is recommended for flexographic and gravure water-based inks. It is also used in a wide variety of industrial coatings, wood finishes, and composite treatments at 1-5% of active solids to the total formula weight. It meets the requirements of 21 CFR 175.105, 175.300, 176.170, and 176.180.
