AquaFLON® 52 by Shamrock is a non-ionic aqueous dispersion of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Acts as a slip control, rub- and abrasion resistance agent. Provides high temperature resistance, broad chemical resistance, slip (low COF), rub- and abrasion resistance properties. AquaFLON® 52 is recommended for flexographic and gravure water-based inks and specialty coatings at 1-5% of the total formula weight. It meets the requirements of 21 CFR 175.105, 175.300, 176.170, and 176.180.
