Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Power Chemical
Gamma-aminopropylmethyldiethoxysilane. It acts as an adhesion promoter and surface modifier. Exhibits compatibility with glass, glass fibers, glass wool, mineral wool, silicic acid, quartz, sand, cristobalite, wollastonite, mica, aluminum hydroxide, kaolin, talc, other silicate fillers, metal oxides and metals. Also compatible with cold-curing phenolic and furan foundry resins. Provides product modifications through addition reactions with suitable monomeric or polymeric compounds (for example isocyanates, epoxides, etc.) or by co-condensation with polysiloxanes. Offers adhesion, flexural strength, tensile strength, impact strength and modulus of elasticity, dielectric constant and volume resistivity. Shows better filler dispersion, reduction in viscosity, Newtonian behavior and higher degree of filling. Applications include glass- and metal primers.
