PAT-ADD SL 1120

Polysiloxane in solvent. Acts as a slip and leveling agent for use in solvent-borne coatings. Is extremely versatile in application, so efficient in various solvent-borne systems for optimizing slip, mar resistance and contributing to improved flow as well as leveling. It is a very efficient surface tension modifier, effective at very low concentrations. The product demonstrates excellent substrate wetting, thus avoiding the formation of craters, pinholes and poor substrate coverage of coatings applied onto critical substrates such as improperly cleaned substrates as well as low surface tension substrates. Provides excellent surface smoothness, slip and mar resistance, counteracts pigment floating or foam formation. Has wide range of compatibility, excellent film transparency. Reduces the coefficient of friction (COF) in solventborne and UV-curable systems. Used for solventborne industrial and UV/ EBC cured systems; limited compatibility in WB systems.
