PAT-ADD DA 603

PAT-ADD DA 603 by PATCHAM FZC is a polymeric anionic surface active compound. It acts as a wetting and dispersing agent. It is APEO-free and shows strong dispersion with extenders, hydrophilic pigments and medium hydrophobic pigments including carbon blacks & iron oxides. Reduces mill base viscosity and improves color development, storage stability & gloss. PAT-ADD DA 603 enables high pigment loadings at even lowest viscosity. Strongly contributes to electrostatical pigment stabilization, as well as sterical stabilization effect, thus minimizing tendency to flocculate in liquid stage and during film formation. Applications include waterborne printing inks and paints including pigment concentrates, architectural & industrial paints and gloss dispersion paints. Dosage should be between 0.5 and 2.0 %, calculated on the total weight of coating or ink formulation. For use in pigment concentrates (PC) higher levels are suggested, such as 3 to 10% PAT-ADD DA 603 on total weight of the PC. It is a REACH compliant.
